Some People and the Wave Factory

A satellite of MicroComponents (MC), an industrial company designing, manufacturing and selling RF and microwave technologies, accidentally intercepted a new type of space electromagnetic radiation. For human technology, it is just a new kind of wave. But the entities now trapped within the MC’s captors are eager to enjoy this opportunity to suck data out of these primitive life forms that we are for them.

As the news of the discovery have been released in the scientific sphere, the manager of the manufacturing branch owning the satellite decided to offer a tour for few people linked to their field. A lot of requests have been sent to him, so he left it up to chance to decide who his guests would be, by randomly placing affirmative answers in the reply envelopes. The PCs are the lucky winners of this lottery.
